This 8 day Uganda Safari begins in Kampala and will take you to Murchison Falls National Park for a thrilling game viewing experience and launched cruise on the River Nile, to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will have a Kazinga Channel boat Trip before transferring to Bwindi Impenetrable national park where you will trek the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Lastly, visit Lake Bunyonyi one of the hidden gems in Uganda for a relaxing and refreshing Safari experience.

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls NP, visit top of the Falls
After breakfast at your hotel, your Safari driver-guide will meet you at your hotel in Kampala, brief you about the Safari and then begin the Journey to Murchison Falls National Park where you will arrive later in the afternoon. This drive will take you to the beautiful countryside with an en-route stopover for lunch in masindi before proceeding to the park. There will be an optional visit to the Ziwa rhino sanctuary where you will get an opportunity to track rhinos on foot. On arrival you will visit the top of the waterfalls where you will observe the Waters of the great River Nile (the longest river in the world) force their way through a narrow gorge 7 meters wide and then drop several feet below with a thunderous roar. You will proceed to your accommodation and depending on where you will be staying you will need to ferry crossing

Day 2: Game Drive and lunch Cruise
After breakfast you will have a game drive early morning to see various animals such as buffaloes, elephants, topi, warthogs, waterbucks and many others. After lunch you will go for a boat cruise on the river Nile for 2 hours during which you will see several birds including a shoebill stork, and animals like Buffaloes, giant Nile crocodiles and many others. This Cruise will take you to the bottom of the falls where you will enjoy uninterrupted views of the magnificence and power of these waterfalls.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Today morning after breakfast you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park Uganda’s most renowned game park which prides in a very diverse profusion of wild animals that live in its numerous habitats. Some of the animals you will see include: fight which ranks as one of the most bio diverse fight wave life habitat in the world with several wildlife habitats it support different animals such as prime it’s like Buffalo’s chimpanzees animals like hyenas, cape Buffaloes, elephants, different antelopes and lions

Day 4: Game drive and launch Cruise
Starting the day with an early breakfast you will head out to the Kasenyi plains for a game drive experience in this area which is very popular among tourists as it is home to a very large number of different animals such as lions, hyenas, buffaloes. You will have lunch later in the afternoon take a launch cruise on the kazinga channel a natural waterway that connects lakes George and Edward.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
After breakfast you will transfer to Bwindi National Park home of the mountain gorillas and the best place to enjoy a gorilla trekking Safari in the world. Furthermore the Park is home to a diversity of birds and animals including primates like baboons, monkeys; different butterflies, moths, Forest elephants and buffaloes. On arrival, check into your accommodation for dinner and overnight

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking
By 8 a.m. you will be at the park headquarters where you will be briefed by the ranger guide about the do’s and don’ts of gorilla trekking and how to behave while in the natural habitat of gorillas. The trek takes between two to four hours during which you will see a diversity of flora and fauna. Once you find the Gorillas you will maintain a 6 to 7 distance from them as you observe and take photos of for a duration of one hour
Following a lunch break you will either return to your accommodation to spend the rest of the day at leisure or have an optional cultural visit to the Batwa pygmies to be entertained with vibrant dances, songs and drama, and also learn about the traditional lifestyle of these people who for years survived off the forest. Return to accommodation for dinner and the overnight rest

Day 7: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Early morning breakfast then drive to Lake Bunyonyi going through the beautiful countryside of what is known as the ‘Switzerland of Africa’ where you will marvel at the rolling hills covered with plantations and small villages. The word ‘bunyonyi’ in the local language means a place with many birds and indeed this is what you will find there. On arrival check into your accommodation and later in the afternoon enjoy a relaxing 2 hours boat ride on this Lake which is the deepest in Uganda.

Day 8: Transfer to Kampala
After breakfast you will begin the drive back to Kampala with an en-route lunch in Mbarara City. if time allows you will make a stopover at the Mpambire drum makers to observe the traditional way of making drums and also buy some souvenirs. a photographic moment will be enjoyed at the equator before proceeding to Kampala where you will be dropped at the hotel of your choice or at the Entebbe international airport for departure flight. This will be the end of our Safari
