3 Days Queen Elizabeth Safari Uganda
This 3-day adventure in Queen Elizabeth National Park will take you to Uganda’s second largest as well as popularly visited national park which was named after Queen Elizabeth II Queen of England following her visit back in 1952 in this park. Amazingly this wildlife sanctuary is home to a great diversity of habitats which offer a safe refuge four different species including reptiles, mammals, birds, insects and different birds. There are approximately 605 bird species and over 95 mammal species including buffaloes, Lions, crocodiles, elephants, hippos and various antelopes The park is well-known for its unique tree climbing lion population that lives within the Ishasha area together with its beautiful Crater lakes and the Kazinga water channel a natural waterway that connects Lakes Edward and George where remarkable game viewing can be enjoyed. This park is home to one of the largest diversity of bird species in the country as well as in all other protected areas within East Africa. Within the nearby Colleen’s of forest or the Kyambura Gorge holidaymakers can enjoy chimpanzee tracking.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early morning, your Safari guide – drive will pick you up from your hotel, briefly about the Safari and begin the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park driving through the beautiful countryside. You will drive through a number of major cities and towns in southwestern Uganda such as Masaka city and Lyantonde town as you appreciate the greenery, and see a number of rural settlements as well as local agricultural activities until you finally rich Mbarara city where you will have lunch. Afterwards you will proceed with the journey driving through the Igara tea plantations, kalinzu Forest Reserve, the escarpment and finally make your way into the park in the evening.

Day 2: Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise
You will have an early cup of tea or coffee before heading out for an early morning game drive following the Kasenyi trail where you will get an amazing chance to see different animals such as warthogs, waterbucks, Lions, elephants, Uganda clubs among many others not to forget the numerous bird species. You will return to your lodge at around 11:00am for a late breakfast and later lunch.
In the afternoon you will head out for a boat cruise on the kazinga channel a natural waterway that connects lakes Edward and George. During this boat adventure you will see various animals and enjoy photography moments of animals like elephants, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and kobs to mention just a few plus various birds like the malachite kingfisher. You will later return for dinner and spend the overnight at your accommodation

Day 3: Departure to Kampala
This is the final day of a safari after a nice breakfast at your Lodge and later checkout. You will enjoy an optional chimpanzee tracking or primate watching in the Kyambura gorge. You will have a final game drive as you head-out the park enjoying a final glance at the wildlife living here and then drive back to Kampala. You will have a stopover at the Mpambire drum making center where you will encounter locals traditionally make the drums; and even purchase some other souvenirs. You will have lunch along the way and later be dropped off in Kampala or at the Entebbe airport for your Departure flight. End of Safari
