This 4 Days safari will take you to southwestern Uganda to visit the Bwindi impenetrable forest home of the mountain gorillas for gorilla trekking and then proceed to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxing adventure. Today more than half of the gorilla population in the world lives in Uganda which make the Bwindi Forest park the best place to take a gorilla trekking safari in the world. You will proceed to Lake Bunyonyi the deepest lake in Uganda, and second deepest in Africa coming after Lake Tanganyika in Tanzania; for a refreshing safari experience.

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park
Very early morning your Safari driver guide will meet you at your accommodation brief you about the Safari and then begin the journey to the Bwindi impenetrable Forest National Park for a gorilla trekking adventure. The long drive will take you through the beautiful countryside of southwestern Uganda and you will make a number stopovers along the way including a photo moment at the Uganda equator and lunch stopover in Mbarara city; later you will proceed into the park and checking into your accommodation where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 2: Gorilla trek and Batwa community visit
Today will be the highlight of our safari as you wake up very early for a quick breakfast before transferring to the park headquarters where you will meet the park ranger guides who will brief you about the gorilla trekking activity. You together with other trekkers in groups of eight (8) you will head out into the forest by 8 a.m. and begin the search for these forest gentle Giants. the trek which normally takes between 2 to 5 hours depending on where the gorillas will be, and your trekking speed will offer you an opportunity to appreciate the rich vegetation covers and other wildlife species including birds, small primates, insects and different trees found in this very thick forest.
When you eventually encounter the habituated gorilla family you will be allowed 1 hour in their presence as you observed them interact with each other, feed, play about, copulate, care for their young ones and even get a chance to take photographs. At the end of this adventure you will have a lunch break.
Later in the afternoon go for a community visit where you will meet the Batwa people who are considered to be Uganda’s shortest community. These very cheerful people will warmly welcome you and will demonstrate to you they are unique way of life and how they have been able for several years to survive on this Forest. You will be entertained with music, dance and drama that will surely leave you with lasting memories of the hospitality of Ugandans. Later you will return to your Lodge to freshen up, have dinner and spend the night.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi and Boat Ride
You will have the final breakfast in Bwindi National Park, checkout of your lodge and then begin the drive to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi located within kabale district. On arrival you will check-into your accommodation where you will enjoy a nice lunch. Later in the afternoon you will head out for a boat ride on the lake to see the beautiful scenery of the green rolling Kigezi hills and seceral birds. Have dinner and the overnight rest at your accommodation at about what are buds and enjoy views of the rolling kigezi hills in a distance.

Day 4: Departure to Kampala
This is going to be the final day of our 4 day Safari in Uganda. You will enjoy breakfast at your Lodge and then begin the drive back to Kampala where this safari will end. You will be dropped off at a hotel of your choice or at the Entebbe international airport for you outbound flight.
