About Gorilla Expeditions
Gorilla Expeditions is a Kampala-based brand managed by Active African Vacations Limited, with a second office on Airport Road in Kigali. It sells one- to twelve-day gorilla and primate trips in Uganda, Rwanda and DR Congo, with Tanzania combinations, covering gorilla trekking, chimpanzee and golden monkey tracking, wildlife safaris, birding at Mabamba swamp, Bisoke and Rwenzori hikes and cultural tours. Uganda destinations include Bwindi, Kibale, Queen Elizabeth, Mgahinga, Lake Mburo and the Rwenzori. Itineraries are tailor-made or small-group, with programmes for older travellers, honeymooners and families, and the site positions its prices as affordable rather than luxury.
